Terry Laber
Terry conducts forensic training and provides forensic consulting in the areas of Bloodstain Pattern Analysis and Crime Scene Response. Terry has over 40 years experience as a Forensic Scientist in the areas of DNA, Bloodstain Pattern Analysis, and Crime Scene Response. Terry has testified as an expert witness over 100 times in 25 states, Canada, UK and Germany.
Terry has consulted on several high profile cases and you may have seen him on the popular Netflix crime documentary “The Staircase” from 2018. He has numerous professional publications in the area of DNA and Bloodstain Pattern Analysis including a laboratory manual that is widely used in teaching Bloodstain Pattern Analysis classes (available on this website).

Ross Thomas
Ross has over 15 years experience in the DNA section of a large accredited state laboratory system, of which 12 years has included serving on their state-wide crime scene response team. For the last 9 years he has led teams from one to ten in size, to comprehensively document and process those major crime scenes, including officer involved incidents, homicides, attempted homicides, clandestine grave recoveries, death investigations, missing persons, criminal sexual conduct and kidnappings.
He is an active instructor and consultant throughout the United States in Crime Scene Response, Bloodstain Pattern Analysis and Forensic DNA Analysis; teaching to a variety of groups ranging from police and investigative organizations to trial counsel professional development groups.
